Steps To Do Matangi Mudra

To perform Matangi Mudra, follow these steps:

  1. Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit in a meditation posture such as Padmasana (Lotus Pose) or Sukhasana (Easy Pose). You can also sit on a chair with your feet flat on the ground if that is more comfortable for you.
  2. Relax your body and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
  3. Bring your hands in front of your chest with your palms facing up.
  4. Bend your ring finger and bring its tip to touch the base of your thumb. This forms a circle with your ring finger and thumb.
  5. Now clasp your index and little fingers. Raise the middle fingers of both hands and join the ends of the two middle fingers in perfect alignment.
  6. Close your eyes or soften your gaze, and take a few moments to relax and settle into the mudra.
  7. Begin to focus on your breath, allowing it to flow naturally. Bring your attention to the sensations in your body and the stillness of your mind.

You can hold the mudra for as long as you like, but it is recommended to start with 5-10 minutes and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable.

During the practice, you can repeat a mantra or affirmations related to communication, creativity, or self-expression if you wish.
