How To Do Prithvi Mudra

  • First of all, sit in any comfortable sitting posture and keep the hands on the thighs or knees with the palms facing upwards.
  • The meditation postures like Padmasana Siddhasana, Swastikasana, Vajrasana etc. are ideal for the practice of mudra.
  • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths with awareness of the process of breathing.
  • Now bend your ring finger and tap the tip of the ring finger to the tip of the thumb.

  • Sit in any meditative posture such as Sukhasana (by tying a pedestal), Padmasana or Siddhasana.

  • Place both your hands on your knees, palms facing upwards.
  • Now put the tip of the thumb of the hand in the root of the ring finger (the finger with the smallest finger).
  • While doing Aditi Mudra, keep in mind that your spine remains straight.
  • Keep your eyes closed while doing the mudra.
  • Aditi mudra should be done in the morning on an empty stomach, one hour before and half an hour after doing the afternoon and evening mudra, nothing should be eaten.
  • Do not do this mudra while walking. Aditi Mudra can be done for 15 minutes in the morning, afternoon and evening.
