Follow The Steps For Abhaya Hridaya Mudra
- Choose comfortable clothes and easy to use for the practice of Abhaya Hridaya Mudra.
- Sit in Sukhasana or Padmasana, in whichever posture you can remain stable for a long time.
- Keep the palms of both the hands open on the knees of both the feet. Make sure that the palms are facing upwards.
- Pay attention to each part of the body in turn and leave it loose. In this way bring the whole body to a state of rest.
- Take some long breaths in and let them out with ease. In this way bring the mind into the present and control the breath.
- Now bring your hands near your heart centre and cross the right wrist in front of the left wrist.
- Now bend the ring finger i.e. the ring finger towards the palm and press its knuckle with the thumb. Touch the fingers of both the hands with the same thumb and bring it into the Prithvi Mudra posture.
- Make sure your backs of the hands keep together.
- After this, warp your right pinky finger around the left pinky finger, then skip over the ring finger, then your right middle finger over your left middle finger, and in last wrap your right index finger around the left index finger.
- After becoming stable in Courageous Heart Mudra, close both the eyes and concentrate completely on the process of movement of breath.
For effective results, practice Abhaya Hridaya Mudra for at least 20-40 minutes daily. If you want, you can divide it in half two times a day. If you practice it every day then you will get good results. Practicing this mudra in the morning and in the evening is more fruitful.
Early morning before sunrise is the best time for any physical, mental, and spiritual practice. But if you do not have time or do not find this time appropriate, then you can do it at any time of the day at your convenience.
