COVID-19 protection AYUSH advisory for Immunity Boosting you need to know

In view of the increasing fear of Coronavirus, The Indian Prime Minister has announced to increase the lockdown in India till May 3 and also addressed the country to accept the advice of the Ministry of AYUSH. The AYUSH recommends drinking warm water and herbal tea-brew, doing yoga, pranayama, meditation, eating Chyawanprash, take golden milk, and use of sesame oil in the nose, and Tulsi, ginger in diet, etc. to increase the body’s ability to fight against diseases to COVID-19 protection.

The Research Council under the Ministry of AYUSH ((A departmental of Indian) has also issued an advisory for the protection of COVID-19, explaining the benefits of Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani Medicines.

Well, Ayurveda does not mention any disease called the corona. But Ayurveda emphasizes on prevention of any disease by increasing the immunity of the body more than the treatment.

People are urged that it is easy to protect against COVID-19 by increasing immunity. Let’s look Ayush advise for COVID-19 protection.

AYUSH advocates for COVID-19 protection

According to Ayush Advisory, to strengthen the body’s ability to fight against diseases, that is, to increase immunity, follow a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Drink Warm Water

Describing some general measures, the Ayush has advised drinking hot water throughout the day.

Ayurveda said that basil leaves, black pepper, honey, and cinnamon can also be drunk in hot water, all these things are full of medicinal properties. Which can help keep you healthy and prevent diseases.

Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation

According to the advisory, it is recommended to practice yoga, pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes, both morning and evening, before meals every day. And more focus on yoga for the immunity system.

Eat a spoonful of Chyawanprash.

To strengthen the body’s ability to fight against diseases, eat 10-12 grams ie one teaspoon of Chyawanprash in the morning. The children and old people in particular, must be given. Diabetic patients can take Chyawanprash without sugar.

Golden Milk

Do not forget to say good night with Golden milk Or Turmeric milk before sleeping at night. Turmeric has been recognized as a miraculous substance in Ayurveda since ancient times. Besides, turmeric has been called an important medicine.

Massage with Sesame oil

Immediately after bathing, massage sesame oil on the body, which along with enhancing the ability to fight against diseases, also serves to speed up memory and relieve stress.

Use Some Important Spices During Cooking

According to the advisory, during cooking, use spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, black pepper, dry ginger, raisins, clove powder, camphor, cardamom, and mace.
